About Me
Hi, friends! I'm Sheila, and I enjoy documenting the natural, lovely little moments that happen every day. Your life is full of details that tell your story and I try to capture that.
I choose to shoot film because it's nostalgic. I remember flipping through overflowing photo albums as a kid and I hope to keep that tradition alive. It's a visual journal of your life. Shooting film helps me slow down. I find I am more intentional with my shots having a limited amount of frames.
I have a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in photography. I also spent a year working at a film development lab as a professional editor.
Three words to describe myself are cats, coffee and a camera.
My cats are named after my two favorite film stocks: Kodak and Ilford. I am obsessed with a good cold brew and I obviously love photography!
